CHELSEA moved to second in the Premier League with a 3-0 hammering of Wolves.
Goals from Malo Gusto, Joao Pedro and Pedro Neto saw the Blues record a big win at Stamford Bridge.
Enzo Maresca made several changes to the side that was held by Qarabag on Wednesday.
And it worked a treat in the second half as Chelsea finally knocked down the doors of a stubborn Wolves side.
It’s starting to look promising for Todd Boehly and Co.
But who had a great game for the Blues?

Robert Sanchez – 6
Did what he had to do. Which, against an unambitious Wolves, was not much.
Made one well-judged punch and one authoritative catch in the first half and that was about as complicated as his evening got.

Malo Gusto – 6
A slack first half of poor passing and lack of attacking thrust was soon forgiven when he opened the scoring.
But his defending still left a bit to be desired on the rare occasions Wolves showed attacking intent.
Wesley Fofana – 6
Untroubled by Wolves’ toothless attack he showed some willingness to stride forward with the ball and even had a chance to score.
Some good tidying up in very short second-half spell when the opposition woke up a bit.
Trevoh Chalobah – 6
There is a reason why he features in pretty much every Premier League game for which he is available and he was solid again.
Kept his concentration despite long periods of inactivity against an admittedly poor team.
Marc Cucurella – 7
Chelsea’s Mr Reliable did what it said on the tin until poor header gave Munetsi a late chance.
Fulfilled defensive duties and tried whenever possible to work the ball quickly so Garnacho would be one-on-one with his Wolves marker.
Enzo Fernandez – 7
Rivalled Garnacho as the Blues’ man most likely throughout the game, forcing two saves himself and seeing fine passes wasted by team-mates.
Stepped up with an all-round display as fellow £100m midfielder Caicedo had a rare off day.
Moises Caicedo – 5
Less influential than usual in a first half which was typified by a frustrated foul on Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Improved after the break but had to be a little bit careful because he picked up a rare yellow card just before the hour.
Pedro Neto – 7
Busy as ever, always offering an outlet, although without the killer pass or cross for much of the game.
But when asked to go up top for a little while after Delap went off, he was in the right place to convert Garnacho’s perfect cross.
Joao Pedro – 6
For more than an hour the Brazilian did not seem quite on it, missing with his only chance of the first half.
But scored within moments of Delap going off as Estevao teed him up and now has goals in back-to-back PL games.
Alejandro Garnacho – 8
His best display for the Blues by far. Willing to take on his man from the start but also to do his bit working back and retaining possession.
Laid ball on a plate for Gusto but his run and cross for Neto’s goal were even better.
Liam Delap – 3
Did not make the most of his return to the starting line-up. After half an hour had fewer touches than his goalkeeper.
Had little service, yes, but that’s when you need to make things happen yourself. Deserved to be hooked.
Subs
Estevao (for Delap, 64) – 7
The boy wonder did it again, making an immediate impact as a sub when he teed up Joao Pedro for the second goal.
Reece James (for Gusto, 77) – 6
It was a surprise not to see him a little earlier and this was a gentle run-out against well-beaten and demoralised opponents.
Marc Guiu (for Neto, 77) – 6
Ran around like a mad thing and almost poached a couple of goals in his short spell on the pitch.
Jamie Gittens (for Joao Pedro, 83) – 5
Had little time to make an impact with the game already won, particularly on the opposite wing to usual.
