ALEXANDER ISAK finally got off the mark for Liverpool in the Premier League in the win over West Ham.
The hosts had seen off plenty of pressure from the struggling Reds in the first half to go in at the break goalless.


The Hammers came out in the second half with some more impetus but found themselves behind before the hour mark.
And it was that man Isak who poked his effort past Alphonse Areola to finally strike a league goal for Liverpool.
Lucas Paqueta ended West Ham’s hopes of finding a leveller after getting himself sent off.
The Brazilian was shown a yellow card for complaining about a decision before that seemed to infuriate him further as he continued to argue.

The midfielder was then shown another yellow and a red card just 54 seconds after the first caution.
Liverpool took advantage of the extra man and made sure of the win through Cody Gakpo in injury time.
