ALLY McCOIST is using the international break to have a quick rest from his rather extensive media duties.
But the Rangers and Scotland legend certainly is NOT taking things easy!
McCoist, 63, is currently on what has been described as a ‘road trip to remember’ on the other side of the world.
While Scotland are on the cusp of securing a stunning World Cup qualification, former Tartan Army favourite Coisty is in fact already in one of the host nations.
Next years footie extravaganza will be taking place across three countries in North America – Canada, Mexico and the United States.
And McCoist has headed to the US with some familiar faces to take in a rather different sporting experience.

McCoist is currently in the country with commentary pal Darren Fletcher and he’s taking in some big sporting events.
On Saturday night, the duo took in a huge College Football game as USC beat Iowa in Los Angeles.
And last night, McCoist was still in the City of Angels as he got the chance to take in his favourite NFL team on their own patch for the first time.
McCoist is an LA Rams fan but as revealed by Fletcher last month had NEVER had the chance to see them in action in America.
That all changed last tonight as McCoist headed for the stunning SoFi Stadium on the outskirts of LA to watch the Rams take on the Seattle Seahawks.
He was treated to a cracker, too, as the Rams edged a dramatic 21-19 win over their division rivals.
McCoist has headed to the USA with Fletcher as part of a major trip organised by a travel company and punters were invited along on to join the famous faces on a packed schedule – although anyone wishing to head would’ve had to part with a cool sum of just under £5,000.
As well as Fletcher and McCoist, TV and radio star Vernon Kay is on the trip.
The Radio 2 presenter co-hosts the Extra Point Podcast with Fletcher and Sky Sports host Neil Reynolds, and the whole trip has been organised in conjunction with the podcast.
McCoist shared a picture of himself alongside the former Family Fortunes host outside the stadium.
Kay might not have been smiling after the game, however, given the fact he’s a big Seattle Seahawks fan.
Upon its announcement, the podcast hailed the trip to America as the ‘trip of a lifetime.’
And it certainly seems like McCoist has been enjoying himself!
He shared a series of pictures from both outside and inside the rather incredible SoFi Stadium.
He revealed he’d “done my brains in the Rams shop”, and could be seen clad head-to-toe in LA Rams gear – hat and jersey included.
Last year, McCoist was famously caught on camera vibing along to AC/DC before he commentated on a huge Champions league clash.
And it seems like the music choice in LA went down well with him too!
Commenting on one his own Instagram stories, McCoist exclaimed: “It’s all kicking off here. We’ve just had a bit of Warren G.”
California native Warren G was a huge star on the rap scene during the 1990s and enjoyed a string of chart hits both in the US and UK.
