UNIMPRESSED Ally McCoist fears it could take THREE transfer windows to fix the mess at Rangers.
The Light Blues legend was once again left aghast by the lack of quality in the current Gers side as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Roma.
It’s been a dismal campaign all round for Rangers and that certainly has been the case in Europe.
After years as a force in continental competition, the Gers still find themselves ROCK BOTTOM of the entire Europa League league phase without a single point from four matches.
It’s now SEVEN straight European defeats for the Light Blues.
The fans’ frustrations were all too clear with anger once again being vented towards sporting director Kevin Thelwell and chief executive Patrick Stewart, both in the form of chanting and banner displays.

On the pitch, nothing seems to be clicking together.
Rangers signed a host of new players in the summer, spending upwards of £20million in the process.
And so far, none of them are particularly delivering the goods.
Youssef Chermiti failed to impress leading the line again while fans are yet to take to the likes of Nasser Djiga, Max Aarons and Joe Rothwell – the latter of him was missing altogether from the squad to face Roma.
It certainly hasn’t been the start the new American regime at Ibrox will have wanted.
Chairman Andrew Cavenagh was in the stands watching on.
Gers great McCoist was on commentary for TNT Sports and he delivered his thoughts on another horror night after the game.
The former striker, 63, has regularly criticised the player recruitment this summer and he was quizzed on how long he reckons it will take to fix things in terms of the playing squad.
And he thinks it could be a long slog for boss Danny Rohl and the fans.
McCoist believes supporters should FORGET a quick fix in January and warned that it could take THREE windows to get it right.
Asked if the January window will be enough, McCoist told TNT Sports: “No is the answer to that. Forget it.
“Forget one window. It might be three.
“The first thing you’ve got to say it’s not the best window, the January window is not the best window.
“That’s the first thing you’ve got to say.
“You’ve got to balance the books, you’ve got to get some of them going in the opposite direction.
“Nowadays that was easier said than done.
“So Danny Rohl, who I think speaks very, very well and I think should and will get a good opportunity and hopefully get a few windows.
“I like the sound of him, I think he clearly knows the game, knows what he’s talking about and I genuinely hope he gets the opportunity but it’ll take more than more window because that’s a big job. A big job.”
McCoist has regularly criticised the Gers team this season for looking like “wee boys.”
And that was in his mind again as he revealed a key worry regarding the regression in the squad.
McCoist added: “You don’t want to say men against boys but it is.
“I think Roma had at least one more gear in them, maybe two, possibly three.
“The best player on the pitch, (Bryan) Cristante the captain, he’s gone to the Euros with the Italian squad. It’s a different level.
