AMBULANCES are on the track at York after a ‘horrific’ two-horse fall in the big race of the day.
Jockey Jim Crowley smashed into the turf after he came down on hot-favourite Almeraq.
Tiger Bay, who was ridden by Trevor Whelan, was the other horse to come down.
Racing TV presenters at the track confirmed ambulances had rushed onto the track to help the jockeys and horses.
Oli Bell, who sounded shook up while presenting live on ITV4, said he would bring viewers updates as soon as he got them.
