ANDERLECHT appear to be anticipating life without Celtic target Kasper Dolberg – after reports in Italy claimed they had submitted an initial offer for a Serie A striker.
We broke the news exclusively this week that the Hoops were eyeing a late move for the Denmark international hero – IF Adam Idah moves on to Swansea.
And now Sky Sports Italia claim that Anderlecht have slapped in an offer for Genoa striker Vitinha.
The 25-year-old former Portugal youth star previously graced Marseille but joined Genoa for a fee in the region of £14m last summer.
But the Italian side are reportedly considering the offer from the Belgian outfit.
And they’ve got time on their side to complete a deal – with the Belgian transfer window not due to close until September 6.

That could suit Anderlecht, who are said to be struggling financially – with the fee they could pocket for Dolberg believed to be around £8million.
Media outlet Bold in Denmark said yesterday that “only the final details” are needed before the 27-year-old will sign a four-year deal with the Hoops.
The clever frontman has scored 12 goals in 55 games for Denmark and is national team-mate of Hoops goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
He’s been in impressive form with five goals in eight games this season and 24 in his last campaign.
Dolberg can name Ajax, Nice and Sevilla among the clubs he has played for.
He was sold to French side Nice for £18m in 2019.
