ANDREY SANTOS has revealed how Chelsea’s new wave of Brazilian stars have formed a close-knit group.
Part of the motivation is to stop themselves from missing home, bringing a taste of samba spirit to west London.
The young midfielder, 21, is part of the latest South American influx at Stamford Bridge, alongside wonderkid Estevao Willian and striker Joao Pedro, as the Blues continue their tradition of Brazilian flair.
And Santos admits the trio have grown inseparable both on and off the pitch as they settle into life in England.
He told SunSport: “We are so happy to be there together.
“Chelsea has a strong history of Brazilian players, and now we are there, so happy, and we try and enjoy it every day.”

OSCAR WORRY

The trio’s bond extends far beyond the training ground. Whether it’s cooking their favourite dishes, sharing music, or simply spending time together before matches, Santos says they’ve created their own family away from Brazil.
He added: “Our relationship is so good. Personally, I’m so happy to be here with Estevao and Joao.
“We are always together during training, and after training too. For example, when we go to the team hotel before games, I’m always with Estevao, I think this relationship is perfect.”
The Brazilian boys are the latest in a long line of Samba stars to wear Chelsea blue, following legends like Ramires, David Luiz, Willian, Oscar and Thiago Silva, who all left their mark at the Bridge.

And Santos says that history makes their presence at the club even more special.
He added: “It’s amazing. When you see how many Brazilian players have played for Chelsea and made history, it gives us motivation. Now it’s our turn to do the same.”
With their easy smiles, team spirit and unmistakable rhythm, Chelsea’s Brazilian connection is stronger than ever and Santos insists their friendship off the pitch will only help them shine on it.
He concluded: “Having them here makes everything easier.”
