Antonio’s sixth-place result puts him among the world’s best young arm wrestlers in his weight class, competing alongside representatives from traditional arm-wrestling powerhouses including Georgia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Italy, Ukraine, Romania, and France.
The championship results show the depth of international talent in the sport, with Georgia’s Tutberidze Avtandil claiming the top spot, followed by Kazakhstan’s Kassimov Toirat in second place and Bulgaria’s Rashev Ivo rounding out the podium in third.
Antonio’s performance continues Antigua and Barbuda’s participation in international arm-wrestling competitions, representing the twin-island nation on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
