ASTON VILLA have reportedly agreed a £10million deal to sign teenage starlet Brian Madjo, who has been tipped to become “the next Didier Drogba”.
English-born Madjo, who was born in 2009, is seen as one of the biggest talents in Europe and has already made his first team bow for Metz aged 16.
The striker has played five times in Ligue 1 this season after making his debut against Strasbourg in August, starting and playing 58 minutes in a 1-0 defeat.
And according to Fabrizio Romano, he is now closing in on a move to Villa, with a medical booked for the youngster after agreeing a huge fee.
Madjo will sign a five-year deal with Unai Emery‘s men, the report adds.
Born in Enfield, Madjo later moved to Luxembourg with his family and started off playing for local clubs Marisca Mersch and Racing FC Union Luxembourg.

In 2023 he was snapped up by Metz before signing his first professional contract with the club last summer.
He is already an international footballer after playing three times for the Luxembourg national side.
But he looks to have switched allegiances after making his debut for the England Under-17s last August.
The 6 ft 4 striker has picked up a total of nine caps for the U17s, scoring four times – including one on his debut against Venezuela.

Madjo’s father Guy was also a professional footballer and played for a number of English clubs, including Bristol City, Forest Green, Crawley Town, Shrewsbury, Aldershot and Stevenage.
His height and physicality has led to comparisons to Chelsea legend Drogba.
But Luxembourg technical director Manuel Cardoni said he had a similar profile to ex-Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku.
Cardoni said: “His profile is similar. But, even if we are keeping our feet on the ground, Brian has a more complete profile [than Lukaku], because he is good in tight spaces, really good in terms of positional play.
“He is also good in terms of going in behind [the defence], and he can also feed the ball with both feet. He has huge room for growth.”
And Metz boss Stephane Le Mignan told last summer of how Madjo “outclassed everyone in the Under-19s”.
He added: “[Madjo] has an advanced body for his age, so he is able to meet the physical demands.”
