This year marks the 19th anniversary of the death of Audrey Spencer, a beloved mother, community leader, and the namesake of the Audrey Spencer Foundation. In her memory, the Foundation, led by Executive Director Carlene Spencer-Callwood, is proud to announce a generous donation of US $5,000 to the Glanvilles Football Club.
The donation was presented to Vernon ‘Cactus’ Spencer, a coach with the club and Carlene’s brother. These funds will be allocated as a stipend for the players, with the condition that they attend practices and games on time, demonstrate sportsmanship both on and off the field, attend church at least twice a month, and volunteer to assist elders in the community.
The Glanvilles Football Club will determine the distribution schedule and process for the stipend.
