BEAU GREAVES says her incredible win over world champion Luke Littler has given her a massive confidence boost.
The 21-year-old from Doncaster made history last month when she became the first female player to reach a world youth final, edging Littler 6-5.

Greaves told the BBC: “When I beat Luke, it did give me a big confidence boost.
“I suppose I’ve just lacked confidence over the years, and I’ve got a little bit of it now.”
Five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld believes a strong showing at next month’s PDC World Championship could see Greaves land one of the eight Premier League places.
Van Barneveld told SunSport: “Hopefully, if she does well in the World Championship, I can guarantee you she’ll get a Premier League ticket.”

But Greaves said she would have to do something crazy to get there:“I can’t imagine I’d get the Premier League unless I had a crazy run.
“But… I wouldn’t say no. It’s maybe a bit much for me, but it would make it exciting, wouldn’t it?”
The Premier League kicks off in February and runs for 17 straight Thursday nights.
The top four in the world rankings qualify automatically, with four extra ‘wildcard’ spots available. But Greaves stayed humble.

She added: “People go on about the Premier League being a bit flat and boring but I always end up watching it every week.
“It would be amazing to play but I don’t think I deserve it compared to the other players.”
Littler, who reached the world final in 2024 and won the title a year later, was stunned by Greaves’ performance.
She averaged 105 and clinched the decider with an 11-dart leg, setting up a world youth final against Gian van Veen on November 23.
Greaves also ended the PDC Women’s Series with an 86-match winning streak, earned a two-year professional tour card, and will play at Alexandra Palace from December 11 in the World Championship.
Before that, she faces the Grand Slam of Darts starting Saturday, taking on former world number one Michael van Gerwen.

Greaves concluded: “I don’t really care who I’m playing now.
“I just go in with an open mind, try to be positive and enjoy the game. If you enjoy it, practise hard and work at it, the results will come.”
