IT was a frantic first half in Hungary.
Scotland had a shout for a penalty early doors after Billy Gilmour went down in the box, but it wasn’t given.
Belarus were then almost gifted a goal moments later when Angus Gunn misjudged a loose pass and almost allowed the hosts to pounce.
Scotland‘s best chance of the game from then on fell to star man Scott McTominay who couldn’t direct a close-range shot on target after Max Johnston picked him out in the box.
But the Tartan Army finally found their breakthrough on the stroke of half-time – when Che Adams pounced on the 43rd minute.
