By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize’s U15 Boys National Team (U15 BBNT) began their Concacaf Central American Cup campaign with a 2–0 defeat to Jamaica at Stadion CD Guillermo Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba, on Monday, August 4, 2025. Despite a determined performance and several attacking opportunities, Belize could not find the back of the net in their Group D opener.

🇯🇲 Jamaica Strike Early
Jamaica wasted no time asserting themselves, scoring within the first 30 seconds. Forward Kevaughan Halloway (#11) capitalized on a defensive lapse and slotted the ball past Belize’s goalkeeper to make it 1–0 before the clock had settled. The early shock forced Belize to regroup quickly, and the U15 BBNT began probing Jamaica’s backline with a number of attacks but to no avail.

⏱️ Second-Half Blow Seals the Result
Just three minutes into the second half, Jamaica doubled their lead through Carlondo Morris, who finished a well-placed cross from the right flank with precision. That strike further dented Belize’s rhythm, though the U15 BBNT continued pushing forward in search of a response. Despite their efforts, the final whistle confirmed Jamaica’s 2–0 victory.

🌍 Group Standings & What’s Next
The loss places Belize in a must-win position ahead of their next match against Curaçao on Tuesday, 5 August at 12.00 pm. Belize time. A strong result would keep the team’s hopes alive in a tightly contested League B Group D that also features hosts Aruba.
