By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize’s women representatives, Nelissa Ramirez and Clara Sabal, began their participation at the NORCECA 2025 Beach Volleyball Finals in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic.
Competing in Pool D, Ramirez and Sabal faced Canada’s Bélanger and Monkhouse in their opening match. Despite a determined effort, the Belizean duo fell 2–0 (21–13, 21–6) to the Canadian pair.
Ramirez and Sabal still have matches against the United States and Grenada left.
Elsewhere in Pool C, Mexico’s Torres and Gutiérrez defeated Martinique’s Karine and Carole 2–0 (21–3, 21–2), while Nicaragua’s López and Lolette overcame El Salvador’s Tovar and Guzmán 2–0 (21–14, 21–13).
