By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Premier League of Belize 2025–2026 Opening Championship continues on Sunday, November 2, with fourth-place Belmopan FC travelling to the Marion Jones Sports Complex in Belize City to face Port Layola FC at 4:00 pm.

Belmopan FC are currently sitting in a coveted playoff position (4th place) with 14 points from nine matches, but they will be keenly aware of the opportunity this away fixture presents. Their opponents, Port Layola, are third on 18 points from ten matches.

A victory for Belmopan would narrow the gap to just one point with Port Layola, significantly boosting their chances of securing a top-three finish as the season progresses.
