IT’S been just over two weeks since Brendan Rodgers sent shockwaves around Scottish football by quitting Celtic.
Now, he’s being viewed as a leading contender for a massive job in England.

Rodgers, 52, resigned as Celtic manager a fortnight ago.
His second departure from Parkhead came amid an ongoing public feud with the board over transfer business and plenty of fan unrest.
Celtic had also just lost 3-1 to Hearts to fall eight points behind the Jambos at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
The Hoops had also suffered a horror Champions League exit to Kazakhstan minnows Kairat Almaty at the qualifying stage.

Still, the sudden nature and timing of Rodgers‘ exit was a shock even though he was in the final season of his three-year contract.
There was also, of course, Celtic supremo Dermot Desmond’s scathing statement in the immediate aftermath of Rodgers’ exit that absolutely tore into the now former Hoops manager.
Martin O’Neill made a stunning return to the Celtic dugout as an interim replacement for Rodgers with the search for a permanent replacement still ongoing.
Columbus Crew boss Wilfried Nancy has emerged as the front-runner for the post.
But what could be next for Rodgers?
Well, barely a day after his exit from Parkhead he emerged as the favourite to become the next Wolves manager.
While the Molineux club have indeed decided to make a change in the dugout, Rodgers is NOT the man they have chosen to take over.
Instead, Rob Edwards will be appointed with official confirmation expected imminently.
However, another huge job in the English Premier League could soon be coming up.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke – not for the first time since taking charge at Elland Road – finds himself under huge pressure.
Despite leading the West Yorkshire giants back to the top flight last season, there were doubts over his position.
Leeds’ owners – 49ers Enterprises – decided to stick with Farke and despite a decent start to the campaign, they now find themselves flirting dangerously with the bottom end of the table.
49ers Enterprises, of course, are part of the ownership structure at Rangers.
They now sit 16th in the table but are just a point above the bottom three with a tricky run of fixtures ahead.

Leeds have won just two of their last seven league matches and Farke is odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post.
Although Farke remains in position for now, the bookies have already priced up his potential replacements.
And they see Rodgers as a leading candidate to take charge at Elland Road.
The former Celtic manager is priced at 5/2 by BetVictor to become the next Leeds manager.
That places as him as the second favourite for the position as it stands.
Rodgers is priced behind only Marco Rose who is the current 13/8 favourite for the position.
Rose, 49, has been out of work since his exit from RB Leipzig early this year.
Former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is the third-favourite at 8/1.
Gerrard, who recently rejected the chance to return to Ibrox, is also in the frame to take charge at Middlesbrough.
