PARTICK THISTLE fans are gearing up for a thrilling Glasgow derby against Celtic on Sunday.
Brendan Rodgers will go head-to-head with Celtic hero Mark Wilson in the Firhill dugout for the fourth and final semi-final Hampden spot.
The Hoops beat Rangers on penalties to win the trophy last season and are looking to retain it at Hampden again – with the Jags the next team standing in their way.
And Partick Thistle fans are ready to crank up the heat ahead of the visit from their city neighbours.
Fans’ group Ultras Thistle have revealed their plans to unveil a tifo before kick off at Firhill on Sunday.
The big game gets underway at 3.30pm UK time.
But before then the home fans will produce a large display which will take over the entire John Lambie Stand.
The ultras group have urged all supporters in the stand to remain in their allocated seat to ensure everything goes to plan.
But they’ve also issued an APOLOGY to supporters as many fans will have their view of the pitch restricted when the teams emerge from the tunnel.
A statement confirming their plans read: Ultras Thistle have prepared a tifo for Sunday’s match against Celtic.
“We ask all supporters in the John Lambie Stand to remain in their allocated seat and hold the material at their place as the teams emerge from the tunnel.
“For the design to work properly, it’s vital that everyone sits in the seat allocated to them.
“For some supporters, their view will be restricted as the teams come out.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause however, it is a necessity for the full effect of the display.
“For 90 minutes, we make ourselves heard. No silence. Bring on the Celtic.”
