BROOKLYN BECKHAM suffered an embarrassing outing at the Ryder Cup during the celebrity golf match.
The eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn was playing for Team Europe for the opening rounds of the celebrity playoffs.
However, throughout the 11-hole game he repeatedly hit the ball out of bounds and kept seeing it get stuck in bunkers.
Indeed, Beckham, 26, had to start over on one hole after losing his ball and spending more than the three minutes allowed to go looking for it.
According to the Daily Mail, this saw Beckham mocked for his “lack of talent”.
Onlookers at Bethpage Black golf course in Farmingdale, New York, are said to have commented on how “terrible” he was.
One said: “Hitting trees, can’t get out of bunkers.”
Another is said to have made a joke towards Beckham’s team-mate, basketball star Toni Kukoč, saying: “Isn’t he making you look small?”
It’s claimed other fans were not even sure of his celebrity status, with those who did not know describing him as “David Beckham’s son”.
Beckham was competing with Kukoc against Team USA pair, Eli Manning and Colin Jost.

An insider told the Mail: “Beckham was not in a good mood the entire game, it seemed like.
“He had his head down whenever he walked by fans who were shouting for either Eli or Colin. It was obvious that he had very few fans of his own.”
Following the game, which Team Europe lost 7.5 to 3.5, Beckham said: “I feel like they didn’t like me at all – but it was amazing.
“They gave me a bit of rubbish but I kind of expected it – being in New York, going against Eli… they were just laughing.
“But it is what it is, I was having fun out there. I did the best I could. It was honestly just really fun.”
Beckham, a former model and photographer, added it was “nerve-wracking” to play after claiming he had just one week of experience.
Addressing the negative comments directly, he said: “There’s always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife.
