The comprehensive victories of Bullets and 3Js highlighted Sunday’s action in the ABSCA WTP 93.5FM 30-overs competition as the final league matches determined the semi-final lineups for both male and female divisions.
At Powells, Bullets secured a 35-run victory over PMS to book their semi-final berth. They posted an imposing 182 for seven from their 30 overs, built around a superb 72 from Tassilo Allen. Deran Benta provided valuable support with 32, while Morrison Browne chipped in with 19 runs.
PMS fought back with the ball through Terence Thompson, who claimed three for 25 and Hughan Tonge, who was economical with figures of one for 12.
In reply, PMS were dismissed for 148 in 29.2 overs despite a fighting 40 from Kenny Benjamin and 27 from Shawn Balgobin. Clarence Francis contributed 14, but the target proved too steep. Kimani George was the pick of the Bullets

The most dominant performance of the day came at Rising Sun where 300 demolished Mix Up Stars by 54 runs. Batting first, the 300 team reached 131 for three in just 25 overs, with Molvin James remaining unbeaten on 48. Richard Dyer contributed a solid 38, while Veston Lewis added 22 runs to the total.
Mix Up Stars’ bowling was led by Alfred Jarvis (1/17) and Conrad Mathias (1/17), but they couldn’t contain the aggressive batting display.
The chase proved disastrous for Mix Up Stars, who collapsed to 77 all out in just 15.3 overs. Only Malik Gerald showed resistance with 40 runs, as the 300 bowling attack ran riot. Justin Periera was devastating with four for 12 runs in 5.3 overs, including 2 maiden overs. Vernel Isadore matched those figures with four for 21, while Zack Thomas claimed two for six.
At Dredgers, Marcko Inc Buckleys 3Js produced a clinical performance to defeat the home team by 9 wickets. Dredgers managed 118 for eight from 22 overs, with Kurt Douglas top-scoring with 22, supported by Jaquan Athanaze (19) and Loy Weste (16).
The chase was a masterclass from 3Js, who reached 121/1 in just 13.1 overs. Charanlall Ramjohn was the star performer, remaining unbeaten on 57 with an explosive knock featuring seven sixes. Denley Thomas provided steady support with 30 not out, while Kenrick Scott contributed 24. Kurt Douglas bowled well for Dredgers, taking one wicket for 25 runs in 4 overs with 1 maiden but couldn’t prevent the inevitable.
The results have set up exciting semi-final matchups in both divisions with Rackaman Construction Strictly Business (1st) coming up against Bullets (4th) in the ABSCA WTP 93.5FM 30-Overs while the other semifinal will see Marcko Inc Buckleys 3Js (2nd) battle Dredgers (3rd).
Then in the St John’s Co-operative Credit Union 15-Overs Females Semi-Finals, Female Flyers (1st) will match up with Rockets (4th) while Survivors (2nd) will take on Bullets (3rd).
