Former champions Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB) rallied to their second straight win in the Cool & Smooth sponsored Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) Business Basketball League on Tuesday after recording a comfortable 65-57 triumph over Corner Stone Builders & Maintenance.
Lindsay McDonald was the chief scorer for Transport Board as he sank 22 points and had four steals in what was the feature game on the night. In a losing effort, Takeem Martin had 14 points, 28 rebounds and three assists for the opponents. He was assisted by Najee Simon who had 15 points and 13 rebounds with four assists. Also contributing for Corner Stone Builders & Maintenance were Raheem Sawyer and Jesus Lopez with 11 points each.
In Tuesday night’s opening clash, Richie’s Shooterz outplayed Fearless Security Services to win by an 89-62 margin.
Devorn Benjamin was the top scorer for the victors with a game-high of 20 points while dishing four steals. Jaheem James contributed with 19 points, five rebounds and four assists with Tajahron Davis adding 12 points, eight rebounds and eight assists to the winning efforts.
Beniah Mark (13 points), Shaquille Kelly (12 points and 12 rebounds) and Theo Blair (10 points) were the top performers for Fearless Security Services.
