A vehicle crashed into a parked car and two homes in Wilmington, Delaware, causing significant damage Thursday night.
The crash happened on Dec. 4 just before midnight when a Subaru traveling eastbound in Wilmington left the road, hit a parked car and then struck two homes on the 1200 block of Wilson Road, according to a spokesperson with Delaware State Police.

When officers got to the scene, they said that they found a damaged Subaru Forester in the front yard of a home with smoke coming out of the engine.
The driver, identified as a 29-year-old man from Philadelphia, was found by law enforcement less than a mile away from where the car was, police said.
Officials said that when they came into contact with the driver, he appeared allegedly impaired and was taken to a nearby hospital.
While searching the Subaru, troopers found a loaded gun in the glove box, officials reported.
The driver was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol and other related charges.
Troopers told NBC10 that the people inside the homes were not hurt during this incident.
