The 2025 Cayman Islands Volleyball Federation National Premier League wrapped up on 28 June with two champions crowned.
The league, which ran from 6 May, concluded with best-of-five finals in both the men’s and women’s divisions at the John Gray High School gymnasium.
A strong roster of teams was featured in the league, including Ace Women, Barnes Transportation, Dominion Lady Strikers, FBC Angels, Ironshore Women, Ironshore Rogue, and XPATS in the women’s division.
Men’s teams included Ace Men, Chick’N Go, FBC Saints, Ironshore Men, Ironshore Rogue, and XPATS.
In the women’s volleyball final, Ironshore Women demonstrated their dominance, securing a decisive 3-0 victory over XPATS.
This win marks their second consecutive championship in the league.
Deajra Tulloch, captain of the Ironshore Women’s team, attributed their success to teamwork and dedication.
“Winning the … league for the second year in a row is a huge honour, and it’s a testament to our hard work and unity,” Tulloch said.
“I believe what really sets us apart and helped us go undefeated without dropping a set was the way we work together as one team. We push each other to show up, train consistently, and keep improving our individual skills,” she added.
The men’s final was a closely contested battle with Chick’N Go emerging victorious over Ironshore Men in a 3-2 game.
Third-place matches were held on 25 June at the First Baptist Church with the Dominion Lady Strikers securing the win in the women’s division, while Ace Men secured their spot in the men’s division.
