MARTIN O’NEILL celebrated Europa League progress and revealed he’s close to a new wide Bhoy.
Celtic are working on a £6.5million deal for Frosinone winger Fares Ghedjemis, with Dunajska Streda’s Damir Redzic a back-up.
O’Neill’s men beat Utrecht 4-2 to set up a Europa League play-off with either VFB Stuttgart or Ferencvaros.
Asked about the two potential targets, he said: “You wouldn’t be a million miles away!
“Could it be one or the other? It could be.
“There has been progress on certain things and I think we can move it along in the next couple of days.

“I don’t have any preference – I am just genuinely pleased to be in it.
“You would have got long odds on us qualifying after we lost at Midtjylland but the players have been brilliant.

He said: “It’s the question that has been on everyone’s lips and we trust the club to get the players that the manager and staff want.

“It’s good to qualify for the play-off. That was the incentive to win the game.
“When the pressure was on, we managed to deliver results.
”Ferencvaros boss Keane admits a meeting with Celtic and his old Republic of Ireland gaffer O’Neill would be special.
