CALLUM McGREGOR insists he’s got no interest in a mega-money move to join Brendan Rodgers in Saudi Arabia.
SunSport exclusively revealed Rodgers was weighing up a sensational swoop to sign the Celtic skipper for cash-rich Al Qadsiah.
But McGregor has told how he’s more desperate than ever to ‘stay and fight’ for the Premiership title this season.
Asked about speculation over his future, he said: “No, no, I’m here.
“I’m even more determined – even more. Because of what’s happened. We’ve had a difficult spell, we’re used to winning, then things don’t go your way.
“So, now you have to show everyone that you want to be a winner and you want to stay and you want to fight, and you want to make the club successful. Yeah, that’s the message.”

McGregor insists this season has been tough until now after the disastrous Wilfried Nancy spell as manager after Rodgers’ resignation.
He added: “It’s certainly not been easy, but I don’t think that’s been the case for anyone.
“When you’re so successful and you win so much and then you go through a spell where you’re struggling, the team are struggling, then of course it’s difficult. Let’s not hide away from that.
“But that’s gone now, so we have to draw a line and move forward.

“And I think the reaction again since Martin, Shaun and Fozzy and the guys who came back in, it’s been first class.
“So, that’s now gone, it’s now about what we do between now and the end of the season.”
Celts are six points behind league leaders Hearts after Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Tynecastle.
McGregor insists Auston Trusty’s red card was a turning point.
He added: “To be honest, it’s probably one if he gives a red off the bat, you’re probably not too surprised.
“But when he gives the yellow, I think the only question is, is that an obvious enough error to then go to the monitor? I’m not sure.
“But again, I think if it went either way, you kind of have to accept it.
“It’s one of those grey area ones.”
The Hoops skipper insists Celts now have to be PERFECT between now and the end of the season, with 15 games to go.
He added: “Yeah, I think so.
“I think I said that during the week.
“Obviously, you know the games that you have to get something from.
“Sunday was a game we had to get something from and now you need to be pretty much there or thereabouts and obviously other results will determine that, but we can only focus on what we can do.”
