KELECHI IHEANACHO has emerged as a possible late strike option for Celtic.
Brendan Rodgers is searching for a new hitman after Adam Idah joined Swansea City for £6million.
Iheanacho, 28, worked with Rodgers at Leicester City and almost joined Celtic on loan from Sevilla in January.
The Nigerian ended up at Middlesbrough instead – but clubs have been alerted that he is available to leave the Spanish side again.
Iheanacho has a year left on his Sevilla contract -and the La Liga side won’t stand in his way.
The striker started his career at Man City before joining Leicester for over £20m in 2017.
He had his most productive spell under Rodgers but failed to establish himself at Sevilla after moving there in 2024.
Celtic also looked at Chelsea’s David Datro Fofana – but he is set to join Charlton on loan instead.
