CELTIC have reportedly reached an agreement to sign one of their deadline day targets.
Brendan Rodgers is still in the market to sign another striker and winger before tonight’s deadline.
Celtic are exploring deals for Kasper Dolberg from Anderlecht and Sebastian Tounekti from Hammarby, along with a potential loan move for Jesurun Raj-Sakyi.
And reports from Tunisia today claim that Celtic have finally agreed terms with Hammarby to sign Tounekti after long negotiations.
Reports in Tunisia claim the winger will travel to Glasgow to complete a medical ahead of the 11pm deadline.
Hammarby were looking for around £5million for their star winger who netted in last night’s 4-0 win over Ostera
It’s understood Celtic initially opened negotiations with a bid of around £2.7m and had two offers knocked back.
But now it looks like Rodgers is set to land his target, with the report suggesting the player will join on a long-term deal.
Tounekti last night admitted he was flattered by Celtic’s interest and revealed he expects the Scottish champions to go “all the way” to sign him.
Speaking after last night’s win over Osters, he said: “I know they are specifically interested.
“I know they probably haven’t given up, it seems like Celtic will go all the way.
“That’s what I’ve heard. We’ll see what happens.
“I’m happy in Hammarby. At the same time, it’s fun to have interest.
“Am I staying? It’s hard to say here and now.
“I’m developing a lot in Hammarby with the coaching team and my teammates, but at the same time, things can happen quickly in football.
“I understand Hammarby’s position. They want to win games this autumn.
“I’ve been given an important role in the team so it’s nothing strange.
“But it’s a lot of money and it will be exciting to see what happens.
“I had a really good chat with the people at Hammarby about it.
