CELTIC boss Martin O’Neill has promised fans the club will be active in the January transfer window.
And the Hoops have been linked with the signing of a new forward to bolster their attack.

Celtic were rumoured earlier today to be looking at Frosinone winger Fares Ghedjemis.
And Sky Sports Austria claim that he’s not the only wideman being monitored by Celts.
That’s as they say Celtic are ‘interested’ in Damir Redzic, who plays for Slovakian outfit DAC Dunajska Streda.
Redzic has caught the eye in the Slvakian 1.liga this season, hitting seven goals in 14 games from the right wing.

The 22-year-old also made his Hungary debut as a substitute in their dramatic World Cup qualifying defeat to Ireland in November.
However, it’s reported that Celtic may already be behind in the race to secure Redzic’s signature.
Red Bull Salzburg are understood to have reached a verbal agreement on terms with Redzic, although their negotiations over a fee with DAC Dunajska Streda are said to be ‘proving difficult’.
Should the saga rumble on, Salzburg would also have the advantage of the Austrian transfer window not shutting until 6 February, compared to 2 February in Scotland.
Other European sides such as Copenhagen and Olympiakos have also been linked with interest in Redzic.
On potential signings, O’Neill said: “Who is to say we might not spend money?
“There IS a willingness.
“I think we’ll get some in.
“What I’m trying to do is put a player into this football club that can do something for us now, that the new manager, whatever sort of ideas he has, will really like the player.
“Everybody has different ideas about things, but [we want] somebody who can go past people.
“I love players who can go past people.
“So we’re looking for something a bit EXPLOSIVE, and we can do that.
“I’m hoping that if we’re spending money on this particular player, and if it comes through, that the next manager stepping in, honestly, will say ‘Oh that’s good’, rather than thinking, ‘I’m not sure about this player.’”
