As the year draws to a close, the local netball scene has crowned champions from the 2025 Inter-Primary and Inter-Secondary Netball Competitions.
From 26 Sept. through 12 Dec., primary schools matched up every Friday, with high school division matches taking to the court every Monday and Tuesday.
Both divisions held their finals at the Truman Bodden netball courts with the high school division crowning its winners after two days of play from 8–9 Dec., and the primary school finalists followed on 12 Dec.
Primary school winners
In the inter-primary divisions, the Under-9 Consolation Cup saw Cayman International School secure the top spot over Joanna Clarke Primary School.
Meanwhile, in the Under-9 Championship Cup, Island Primary emerged as champions, followed by East End Primary School in second and Cayman Prep and High School in third.
The Under-11 division saw first-time participants First Baptist Christian School claim the Consolation Cup victory against Footsteps School.
In the Under-11 Championship Cup, Cayman Prep took home first place after overcoming Red Bay Primary School and Sir John A Cumber Primary School rounded out the podium for third.
Inter-secondary results
The Under-12 division in the inter-secondary competitions saw Cayman International School secure the first-place title, with Clifton Hunter High School 2 taking second and Clifton Hunter 1 claiming third.
Clifton Hunter came out on top in the Under-14 division claiming first place over Cayman Prep and High School while John Gray High School grabbed third.
Additionally, Cayman Academy claimed first-place position in the Under-14 Consolation Cup, finishing ahead of Cayman International School.
John Gray High School took the top honours in the Under-16 division after rising above Clifton Hunter while Cayman Prep claimed bronze position.
In the Under-18 division, St. Ignatius Catholic School were crowned champions, followed by Cayman Prep A and UCCI A.
The Under-18 Consolation Cup concluded with Cayman Academy finding success in first place, while UCCI B finished as runners-up.
