THE CHAMPIONSHIP clash between Queens Park Rangers and West Brom was stopped because it appeared a supporter was taken ill in the stands.
Emergency staff tended to the patient on the touchline in front of the Stanley Bowles Stand at Loftus Road.

QPR were bringing the ball out of defence close to the incident and players immediately flagged for help.
Referee Gavin Ward suspended the match and the patient received treatment.
The players waited to resume.
The game was stopped in the 50th minute and held up for around five minutes.
