Former champions, Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board were comfortable 76-42 winners over J&J Company Landscaping Services when action continued in the Cool & Smooth Business Basketball League on Thursday at the JSC Basketball Complex.
Elijah Charles carried the brunt of the scoring for Transport Board with 28 points. Tyndale Telemaque and Daysher Samuel picked up 15 and 10 points respectively for J&J.
In the night’s opening contest, H Wright Promotions defeated Antigua Computer Technology (ATC) 67-46. Donte Trimingham led for the victors with a game-high of 30 points. For ACT, Hansel Piper sank 16 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished five assists while Henry Dorsette picked up 11 points.
In the feature clash, Antigua Power Company enjoyed a 45-34 win over the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center. Amare Browne and Tristan Browne both had 12 points for the victors. Browne also had eight rebounds while Jacobs grabbed seven. Nigel Joseph sank 10 points for Sir Lester Bird Medical Center.
