CHELSEA have reportedly opted against making an effort to sign Antoine Semenyo in January.
The Bournemouth ace is one of the most in-demand stars ahead of the winter window.

Semenyo, 25, has netted eight times in 16 Premier League appearances this season.
The likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Man City, Tottenham and Chelsea have all been tracking the forward.
Semeny has a £65million release clause which is set to become active on January 1.
But the Blues have now pulled out of the race, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Blues could have signed Semenyo for just £2m as Maresca blasts board again
The report claims that Chelsea had made an enquiry for the star but have decided against a move as he is “expected” to join another Prem club.
The withdrawal of the West London club will be a boost to those remaining in the hunt.
There was some belief that Semenyo would favour a move to Stamford Bridge, having idolised Didier Drogba growing up.
Liverpool are expected to make a move for a forward following the significant injury to record signing Alexander Isak.
The former Newcastle star had surgery on a fractured fibula and ankle injury that he suffered in the 2-1 win over Spurs.
