CHRISTOPHER NKUNKU has left Chelsea to sign for AC Milan in a £38million deal.
The Blues outcast, 27, departs Stamford Bridge having netted 18 times in 62 appearances following his move from RB Leipzig.
French international Nkunku arrived in West London to much fanfare in a £52m deal in 2023.
But amid knee and hamstring issues, the attacker was not able to deliver his best form in a Chelsea shirt.
Despite this, Nkunku was able to pick up Conference League and Club World Cup medals during his Blues stint.
And Stamford Bridge chiefs have wished the former Paris Saint-Germain star well.
An excerpt from the club’s statement read: “We thank Christo for his efforts throughout his time at the club and wish him well as he begins a new chapter in his career.”
Nkunku becomes the fourth former Blue within Massimiliano Allegri’s AC Milan squad.
Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori all turn out for the San Siro giants.
The Milan new boy will NOT play European football this term, as his new side endured a nightmare campaign last time out that saw them finish eighth in Serie A.
