CHRIS EUBANK Sr has sensationally accused Eddie Hearn of trying to “damage” his son with his rematch with Conor Benn.
The pair will renew their 35-year-old family rivalry with a second straight catchweight clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
Eubank Jr, 36, boiled down to 160.05lbs for the domestic dust-up and was hospitalised with severe dehydration after edging the 12-round thriller.
‘Next Gen’ will have to make 160lbs for this weekend’s rematch or face being fined another £375,000.
And Eubank Sr, who accompanied his son to the hospital that night, can’t help but feel the contracted weight is an attempt to swing the odds in Benn’s favour.
He told The Times: “I saw a person, who is my son, between life and death in the back of the ambulance.

“When he got to the hospital, they were able to give him morphine and stabilise him.
“But Junior was touch and go because of dehydration.
“The promoter [Eddie Hearn] is openly trying to damage my son and the public watched this and still no one says anything.
“They are silent. It’s sad that people are blind to it, and now my son is in the same position again.”
