CRYSTAL PALACE have suffered a major injury blow after Chris Richards had to be stretchered off during their Carabao Cup quarter-final against Arsenal.
The defender, 25, needed medical attention when the tie was still goalless and he was replaced by Will Hughes after 75 minutes.

Richards was in clear distress after slumping to the turf and was seen to by Palace’s medics for a lengthy period.
During Sky Sports’ commentary of the clash, they revealed that the American needed his boot to be taken off as the Eagles’ physios attempted to stem the bleeding.
And he was eventually taken off on a stretcher – which will come as a significant concern for boss Oliver Glasner.
