According to Danish outlet Tipsbladet, the midfielder has jetted to Germany in order to complete the deal.
The move will see Eriksen link up with compatriot Peter Christiansen.
Ex-Copenhagen chief Christiansen, 49, was appointed Wolfsburg’s managing director for sport during the summer of 2024.
Since his arrival, the German side have recruited several Danish players.
Eriksen will join up with international team-mates Andreas Skov Olsen, Jesper Lindstrom, Joakim Mahle and Jonas Wind at Volkswagen Arena.
While Danish youth international Adam Daghim has also joined on loan from Red Bull Salzburg.
