The Cayman Islands Football Association has officially entered a new digital era with the launch of its first mobile app, providing a centralised hub for fans to engage with local football.
Now available as a free download on Apple’s App Store and Google Play, the app offers real-time access to live scores, updated standings, schedules, statistics, videos, photos and team information.
A CIFA press release stated that the new app creates “the most comprehensive digital platform in the association’s history.”
“It is believed to be the first football association in the Caribbean to launch a fully dedicated mobile application for its competitions and national teams,” the release added.

By housing information for senior leagues, youth competitions and national teams in one place, the platform creates a digital experience previously unavailable to the Cayman football community.
Alfredo Whittaker, CIFA president, described the launch as “a major step forward for football in the Cayman Islands”, noting that it provides players, coaches, officials and fans with “one central place where they can follow every level of the game in real-time.”
The app’s coverage is extensive, spanning the CIFA Premier League, the Women’s Premier League, the Men’s First and Second Divisions, national team content, various cup competitions and youth leagues.
The release added, “The app reflects CIFA’s broader vision to modernise the sport and improve access to information for the football community.”
Whittaker said, “This app strengthens the connection between our association and the community and gives our players and clubs the visibility they deserve.”
Beyond match data and fixtures, the app will also serve as a multimedia platform that includes, “video highlights, photo galleries, interviews and special features as part of CIFA’s ongoing investment in digital content and fan engagement,” said the release.
