
After years of trying, CK Greaves has finally reached the summit of the annual Breakaway Masters Organisation Firms Invitational Football Competition.
Greaves’ coronation came last Saturday, October 4, 2025 when they blanked 2024 champion, KFC Strikers, 2-0 to earn the 2025 title.
Second half goals from Teron Muckett and Kyle Quashie, landed Greaves their first lien on the elusive glory, in what was arguably their best year in the tournament.
Greaves was also the losing finalist in the Knock Out competition.
To the good, CK Greaves toted all the individual awards in the division. Josh Davis copped the award for best goalkeeper; Ronald Belgreaves, best defender; Nikron Laidlow,best midfielder; and Teron Muckett the most goals trophy.
Other Awards
Like in the Firms Division, the Under-17 Division, saw champions, System Three One copping all the awards. Denesh Grant won best goalkeeper, and player of the tournament awards; Joshua, best defender; Brenon Young, best midfielder; and Zebeon Cunningham, most goals.
However, in the Under-19 Division, the spoils were the shared. Champions, North Predators via Curt Caesar won the best goalkeeper award, while Maldini Simmons was adjudged the player of the tournament and best defender.
System Three’s Lazaro Lynch claimed the best defender title; with United Strikers’ Omarion Lyttle copping the most goals award.
Organisers were forced to shelve the Women’s Division following complications with fixturing as several players were engaged in training with the senior St Vincent and the Grenadines team preparing for the Windward Islands Football Association (WIFA) Tournament.
