By Rubén Morales Iglesias: 🔴 Corozal Elite Football Club were awarded a 6–0 victory over Cayo Dreamers on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Carolina Football Field in Carolina Village after the match was abandoned due to the Dreamers falling below the minimum player requirement.
Corozal had surged to a 6–0 lead when Cayo’s lineup dropped to six players, prompting the referee to end the match in accordance with FIFA regulations. Because Corozal were already ahead by more than three goals, the score at abandonment stands, rather than defaulting to a 3–0 forfeit.
The win boosts Corozal Elite to 14 points and strengthens their hold on third place. Meanwhile, Cayo Dreamers remain winless and goalless, facing an uphill battle to salvage their season.
