
NFL star Marshawn Kneeland died at the age of 24.
The Dallas Cowboys confirmed the heartbreaking news about the death of its defensive end in a statement Thursday morning.

“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,” the written statement said.
“Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization.
“Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.”
Kneeland was second round pick for “America’s Team” during the 2024 NFL draft.
He played on Monday night against the Arizona Cardinals and scored the Cowboys’ first touchdown.
Throughout his NFL career, Kneeland made it on to the field in 18 games with four starts, compiling 26 tackles and one sack.
Prior to his NFL career, he spent his college years playing for Western Michigan.
During his senior year, the Grand Rapids native scored a career-high of 57 tackles with seven tackles for loss and four and a half sacks.
Kneeland was later added to the second team in the Mid-American Conference.
