DANNY ROHL is now odds-on favourite to become the new Rangers manager with the bookies.
SunSport told you last night how the 36-year old was the front-runner following Steven Gerrard‘s dramatic U-turn.

Rangers sacked Russell Martin a week ago with the Ibrox club’s US supremos Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe leading the search for his replacement since.
Martin was dismissed just hours after the Gers were held to a 1-1 draw at Falkirk, the latest disappointing result in a long list of them under his stewardship.
He departed having won just five of his 17 games in charge.
Former Light Blues boss Gerrard jetted in from the Middle East earlier in the week to hold talks with the Gers chiefs.

The 45-year old quickly emerged as the favourite to replace Martin and make a sensational return to the Rangers dugout four years on from his exit.
Then came last night’s bombshell reveal that Gerrard had WITHDRAWN from the process.
SunSport understands the Liverpool legend feels like it isn’t the right time to make a return to the Gers.
He also pulled out of the running during the process that saw Martin appointed.
So what now for Rangers?
Well, as we told you last night, former Sheffield Wednedsay boss Danny Rohl has impressed Ibrox chiefs.
While he is the front-runner, he is NOT the only contender still in the frame.
SunSport understands Rohl has got his backroom staff lined-up for a move to Scotland and that he’d look to bring in a former Rangers player as part of his team.
However, the bookies now see Rohl as the clear favourite and the German is now ODDS-ON to be the next man in the Ibrox hotseat.
The former RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich and Germany assistant is now 4/7 on to be appointed by Rangers with William Hill.
Interestingly, there’s a big mover behind him.
Former Rangers defender Kevin Muscat, currently in China with Shanghai Port, has moved into second-favourite at 13/2.
Gary O’Neil and Graham Potter – who have both reportedly been sounded out by Rangers – are priced at 7/1.

William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “Rohl is out of work having stepped away from crisis club Sheffield Wednesday over the summer, and we price the German at 4/7 to head north of the border.
“Derek McInnes, who has taken Hearts to the top of the William Hill Premiership, is 9/1, behind ex-Rangers defender Kevin Muscat (13/2), Gary O’Neil and Graham Potter.”
