RANGERS’ third Europa League group stage match ended in a comfortable win for the opposition.
Hosts Brann ran out 3-0 victors and sent the Glasgow side bottom of the UEL table in Danny Rohl’s first game in charge after being hired just days ago.

Some slack defending was on show throughout and particularly in some of the build up to goals.
While the new gaffer is being given a chance, fans were still seen to be furious at club chiefs after the match.
Captain James Tavernier called the performance ‘disgraceful’, but how did our man David Friel rate them?
JACK BUTLAND – 6
Two big saves in the first half but helpless at Brann goals. Keeper had a go at team-mates on Saturday and will have had more choice words after this.

JAMES TAVERNIER – 4
Posted missing as Brann cut Rangers open before Emil Kornvig tapped in. Skipper tried to get his team going but cut a dejected figure at full-time.
NASSER DJIGA – 4
Restored to the team with Derek Cornelius dropped, but Wolves loanee didn’t look any more convincing then he did before losing his place. Off with a knock.
JOHN SOUTTAR – 4
One decent block early on as home team threatened, but part of a defence that was pulled apart far too easily by a bang-average Brann side. Booked.
JAYDEN MEGHOMA – 4
Rookie left-back was all over the place for Brann’s second goal as Rangers were exposed by a simple free-kick. A tough night all round for the teenager.

NICO RASKIN – 5
Shot blocked and headed wide during a lively first half. Head knock left him dazed and flaky night was summed up with deflection that led to Brann’s third.
JOE ROTHWELL – 4
Worked hard and tried to get on the ball but had no real impact on the game as Rangers toiled to get any level of control on a night to forget. Subbed.
THELO AASGAARD – 4
Played close to Youssef Chermiti and got into decent positions, but either his touch or finishing let him down. Hooked after the hour mark.
OLIVER ANTMAN – 3
Finn whipped in one decent cross but runs in straight lines too often and looks devoid of confidence. Daft foul led to the second goal and then subbed.
YOUSSEF CHERMITI – 3
Missed a sitter in the first half when he produced a weak header from a perfect cross. Toiled to make any impact and badly needs a goal.
DJEIDI GASSAMA – 5
Ridiculous booking after embarrassing antics from Kornvig, but the winger did at least look the best of Rangers’ attackers, which is no great accolade.
Subs: Mikey Moore (5) lively but blazed over a great chance. Bojan Miovski (4) didn’t impress in second half. Connor Barron (5) ran hard. Derek Cornelius (3) on for crocked Djiga. Danilo (3) put Chermiti out of his misery.
