DARTS fans want to see Paul Lim take on Luke Littler after the veteran thrower’s sensational qualification for the PDC World Darts Championship.
‘The Singapore Slayer’ hasn’t featured at the World Championships since 2022.
But he’ll be back at Ally Pally later this year after sealing his place in the top five of the PDC Asian Tour order of merit.
Darts fans were blown away by Lim’s reaching of the tournament and took to social media to express their amazement.
One wrote on X: “Made my day this.”
“Christmas just isn’t the same without seeing this legend on the telly.”
Another said: “Great news.”
And another said: “The world isn’t so bad after all.”
One remarked: Some boy.”
Another chimed in: “Some player, some legend of the game.”

Some also revealed their hopes to see Lim take on defending world champion Littler.
One said: “We need and deserve Littler vs Lim for all the marbles.”
And another said: ” Luke Littler vs Paul Lim opening night of the worlds, anyone?”
Lim will compete in the winter tournament at the ripe old age of 71.
That will make him the OLDEST-EVER player to compete in darts’ showpiece competition.
Lim, however, already bagged that record three years ago with his last appearance at Ally Pally.
Lim – who famously hit a nine-darter at Ally Pally in 1990 – has well and truly rolled back the years in 2025, winning two titles on the Asian Tour.
