THE date for Anthony Joshua’s surprise fight against Jake Paul has reportedly been revealed.
The pair have been finalising the shock bout with December suggested as the month they could come face-to-face in the ring.
Paul, 28, has turned to the British icon after his bout with lightweight champion Gervonta Davis was axed.
Their fight was due to be aired on Netflix but it was canned after Davis was accused of domestic abuse.
The troubled American’s ex-girlfriend filed a civil suit against Davis alleging battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment and kidnapping
AJ, 36, is represented by Eddie Hearn, who had played down suggestions of a fight against Paul is happening in its place.

However, it was then claimed that a fight was close to being finalised between the two-time heavyweight world champion and YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Ring Magazine’s Mike Coppinger has not claimed that there is a date for the fight.
He reported that the two will clash on December 19 – just six days before Christmas day.
Another surprising revelation was that it was said that the fight would NOT be an exhibition.

It would be the first time AJ has stepped into the ring since his knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
The Daily Mail have claimed that the prize pot for the fight is a staggering £140million.
It adds that the cash would be evenly split between Paul and AJ.
Hearn insisted that nothing has been agreed and that AJ’s focus is on fighting Tyson Fury in 2026.
He said: “The focus for us really is 2026 and that is a big fight in February or March and then Tyson Fury.
“We want the real stuff but we want the business as well.”
Derek Chisora has weighed in on the potential fight between AJ and Paul and suggested the Brit must knock out the American.
