DENMARK look set to be without Newcastle United striker William Osula for their World Cup showdown in Scotland after he picked up an injury.
Scotland could face a winner-takes-all clash with the Danes at Hampden in their final qualifier if they avoid defeat to already-eliminated Greece next week.


Denmark boss Brian Riemer called up Newcastle‘s 22-year-old, £15 million forward for their games with Belarus and Scotland.
But Osula is struggling with an ankle injury and missed their midweek Champions League success against Athletic Bilbao.
And he looks set to miss out on international duties too.
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe confirmed: “It’s something he’s been feeling for a while, but he’s been able to train and play games.

“But it had reached a stage where it was affecting him a little more.
“He was scanned and we awaited the outcome in the run-up to the game against Athletic and the scan showed that we had to be a little cautious.
“It’s not a serious injury. We’re talking about weeks, not longer.”
Falkirk keeper Scott Bain has been recalled to the Scotland squad for the double header with Greece and Denmark SIX YEARS on from his last appearance.
The ex-Celtic stopper won the last of his three caps back in 2019 and returns to the national setup amid a goalkeeping crisis ahead of the crucial qualifiers.
No1 Angus Gunn is out after suffering a knee ligament injury – with Craig Gordon and Liam Kelly the other goalkeeping options at Steve Clarke‘s disposal.
