The Department of Education has resumed walk-in services after a temporary pause caused by air conditioning problems at its Victoria Street office.
While the department was forced to halt walk-in services yesterday morning “to ensure the health and safety of both the public and our staff”, a spokeswoman confirmed that the situation has been resolved and normal service had resumed.
“We wish to thank the public for their patience and understanding during the temporary service disruption,” the spokeswoman said.
“We also extend our gratitude to the facilities team for their swift work in resolving the matter.
“The department looks forward to welcoming the public back to our offices.”
