LIVERPOOL youngster Amara Nallo was left heartbroken after a devastating red card against Crystal Palace.
The Reds suffered their third loss of the season to Palace, who knocked their opponents out of the Carabao Cup with a dominant 3-0 victory at Anfield to add to manager Arne Slot’s misery.
But perhaps no player was left more anguished than Nallo, 18, who was sent off just 12 minutes after his introduction in the second half.
The centre-back replaced Alexis Mac Allister on 67 minutes but was given his marching orders after 79 minutes with a straight red card by referee Craig Pawson.
The defender was penalised for bringing Justin Devenny down after the Palace ace was through on goal.
That was Nallo’s second red card in as many appearances with Liverpool‘s senior team.

The academy graduate was also sent off against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League last season.
Nallo came on as a substitute on 83 minutes at PSV but saw red just four minutes later during a 3-2 loss.
That means he counts a total of two red cards in a mere 16 minutes of football with the first team across all competitions.
Palace picked up another impressive win over Liverpool – after beating the reigning Prem champions in the league and Community Shield – with a brace by Ismaila Sarr and a late strike by Yeremy Pino.

This comes after Slot and co suffered their fourth straight Premier League loss at Brentford on Saturday.
This is the first time the Merseysiders have lost that many consecutive Prem games since February 2021.
And Liverpool have already conceded 24 goals across all competitions this season.
