THERE will be no England debut for Alex Scott tonight – after the Bournemouth midfielder was left out of the squad to face Serbia.
Thomas Tuchel is only allowed to name 23 players for this evening’s World Cup qualifier at Wembley.
This means that two of his current 25-man contingent had to be omitted.
Scott, 22, is one of the unlucky ones to be left out along with Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.
Eagles star Guehi, 25, was always likely to miss the cut as he is nursing a heavy bone bruise sustained while playing for his club.
Cherries starlet Scott was the shock name included in Tuchel’s latest squad, having never been called up before.

SHOES TO PHIL
Phil Foden warned by Thomas Tuchel that England camp is his World Cup trial
He had impressed Tuchel and his coaching staff with his performances in the Premier League this season.
He also caught the eye with his role in England retaining their Under-21 Euro title in Slovakia in the summer.
Scott will have to hope he is included in England’s squad for Sunday’s trip to Tirana for their qualifier with Albania if he is to earn his first cap this month.
The former Bristol City man, who hails from Guernsey, spoke on Tuesday of his dream of gatecrashing the World Cup squad for next summer’s tournament in North America.

He said: “Hopefully, if I impress and show what I can do, I would love to hopefully be on that plane in the summer.”
Tuchel also confirmed that Guehi would not be in the squad due to an injury.
He hailed the defender for his leadership qualities he possesses and how he helps his team-mates.
He said: “With Marc it is very painful but there is no structural damage so it is all about the pain.
“There is the possibility that from one day to the other there is a significant improvement so we are working realistically towards the second game.
“If he is not in training on Friday and not able to train on Saturday then we will not make him travel with us and he will of course get rest and treatment.
“We want him to stay with us, want him to stay close. He is one of the leaders, he is an important member of the team.
