CHRIS ARMAS has landed a new head coach role.
The former Manchester United and Leeds coach dubbed ‘Ted Lasso’ has been named Kansas City Current boss.

The American landed the cruel tag – from the American sports comedy-drama – during his stint at Old Trafford as Ralf Ragnick’s assistant manager in the 2021-22 season.
United stars were left frustrated at the time by Ragnick’s apparently “old fashioned” approach to managing with Armas left to deal with most of the coaching.
He cut a distinctive figure on the sidelines thanks to the fact he always wore a set of Apple Airpods – something he used to communicate with fellow coach Ewan Sharp.
After leaving Old Trafford he had a brief stint at Leeds United before landing the top job at Colorado Rapids.
