FORMER Celtic star Simon Ferry’s business empire after football continues to expand.

A TikTok video posted by the restaurant sees the ex-footballer standing outside the venue speaking to a couple and teasing the opening date as September 24, 2025.
A separate video in July showed work being done to refurbish the interior of the site.
The restaurant will have an Italian-American vibe and room for around 36 covers.
Plans for the the new venue were submitted to Glasgow City Council in April 2025.
The building was previously occupied by a Lloyds TSB bank, which closed in 2021.
Ferry took a step back from management after his Open Goal Broomhill project saw them finish 11th in the Lowland League.
He said: “The first feeling is relief it’s done.
“It was a tough year and I did a lot more than I thought I would. Any manager will tell you being a manager is hard enough but the other things that went with it meant it was a lot more work.
“I’m definitely happy I did it though and gave it a go. In the long-run it’ll make me a better manager. I definitely want to give it another bash. Not now though because I’ve still got a lot of learning to do.
“I was quite naive to think at 35 I knew it all. There was so much more to the job than what I thought. I learned a lot about myself as a coach and a person.
“If I do it again then I’ve learned a lot of lessons so I’d be more than confident I’ll be ready.
“But for the foreseeable future I’m going to be an assistant manager and focus on helping the best I can while still doing the podcast. That’s my main income and what I love doing.
“I want to put a lot of my focus on that and I couldn’t really do that while I was a manager.”
