GARY HOLT’S back in football as the shock new head coach of the Partick Thistle women’s team.
The former Kilmarnock, Norwich City and Scotland star has been out of the game since being sacked by Falkirk as sporting director in January, 2022.

Holt has replaced David Elliot who stood down after just five months in charge of the SWPL side.
The Jags currently sit second bottom after just one win in 10 games.
Current Falkirk striker and ex-Partick Thistle player-boss Brian Graham was head coach last season.
The 10-times capped and 1997 Scottish Cup winner Holt, 52, boasts extensive coaching and managerial experience over the last 12-years.
